Babylon Kicks off the 2025-2026 School Year
The Babylon Union Free School District enthusiastically welcomed students back to class on September 4 for the first day of the 2025–2026 school year. Staff across Babylon Elementary, Grade, and Junior-Senior High School greeted learners with energy and excitement, kicking off what promises to be a year full of growth and opportunity.
The theme for the 2025-2026 school year is: “we rise by lifting others.” This theme reinforces the Babylon school community’s commitment to sharing both challenges and successes to the betterment of all.
“It is always a thrill to see our students return for the start of the school year,” said Superintendent of Schools Carisa Manza. “Everyone here in Babylon is looking forward to a fun, exciting, and fruitful year of growth and learning for all of our students!”
